  • Cost Estimating: Develop and maintain cost estimating tools and systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in estimating project costs.
  • Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance evaluations of team members, providing feedback and coaching to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Training and Development: Identify training and development needs of team members, providing opportunities for growth and development.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality assurance procedures and standards, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
Requirements
  • Education: Honours degree or diploma in engineering.
  • Experience: Significant related cost estimating experience in concept, FEED, and detailed design CAPEX and OPEX estimates working for engineering/client organisations in the oil and gas industry, utilities, and/or Low Carbon Energy Transition industry.
  • Skills: Excellent management, coordination, monitoring, and supervisory skills; excellent communication and presentation skills; tactful in resolving issues; proactive approach; attention to detail; team player; exposure to consultancy, FEED/detailed design, and EPC projects; multi-tasking/prioritising; planning and forecasting; ability to meet schedules and deadlines; analytical and problem-solving mindset.
