We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at CV Technical Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and implementing our health and safety management system, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Evolving and implementing our existing Safety management system to meet the needs of our site, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Providing specialist knowledge and support in Health and Safety to site personnel, promoting a culture of safety awareness and responsibility.
- Developing and coordinating the delivery of our Safety training program, ensuring all employees receive the necessary training to perform their duties safely.
- Collaborating with other West Fraser Europe sites to share best practices, implement our safety vision, and achieve the aims and objectives of our Health and Safety Policies.
- Assisting in developing systems that promote personal ownership of Safety, encouraging employees to take an active role in maintaining a safe working environment.
- Developing a Process Safety Management System and promoting a perfect Process Safety Performance culture on site.
- Leading High-Risk Employee Management and High-Risk Scenario training programs.
- Completing Hazard and Operability Studies on critical processes and all new investments/significant changes.
- Managing the Safety Steering Committee, providing clear direction for leaders and all safety sub-committees.
- Managing Change Owner for Personal and Process Safety.
- Degree qualification (desirable)
- Qualifications in Health and Safety (NEBOSH or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a Health and Safety Management role essential
