As a Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive safety management system, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

You will provide specialist knowledge and support in Health & Safety to site personnel, developing and coordinating the delivery of a safety training program.

Additionally, you will work with other West Fraser Europe sites to share best practices, implement the West Fraser safety vision, and achieve the aims and objectives of the Company's Health & Safety Policies.

You will assist in developing systems that promote personal ownership of Safety, developing a Process Safety Management System, and promoting a perfect Process Safety Performance culture on site.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing High-Risk Employee Management, leading High-Risk Scenario training, and completing Hazard and Operability Studies on critical processes and new investments/significant changes.

You will also own the Safety Steering Committee, providing clear direction for leaders and all safety sub-committees, and manage Change for Personal and Process Safety.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree qualification (desirable), qualifications in Health and Safety (NEBOSH or equivalent), and previous experience in a Health & Safety Management role.
