Family Support Worker

We are recruiting a Family Support Worker to join our team in Sandwell. The role involves providing frontline support to children who have been affected by domestic abuse. This is a part-time, 15 hours (2 days a week, 9am-5pm), permanent position with a salary of £8,923.29 - £9,369.36 per annum pro rata.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver evidence-based one-to-one intervention, group work, and advice in various locations across Sandwell to build resilience in children and young people.
- Ensure all interventions are age-appropriate and child-led to reduce risk and are culturally sensitive.
- Offer general awareness of healthy relationships, confidence, self-esteem, managing emotions, promoting resilience, and identifying healthy coping strategies.
The successful candidate will be working closely with other services to create the best outcomes for young people. A full driving license and access to own vehicle are required for this position.
