Job SummaryWe are looking for a Compensation Senior Specialist to join our team in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice on land and property matters, including negotiations with landowners and tenant farmers. The role will involve working closely with our growth team to secure exclusivity and land rights for new wind, solar, and energy storage sites.
Key Responsibilities- Originate greenfield development projects and secure exclusivity and land rights for new wind, solar, and energy storage sites.
- Negotiate viable and cost-effective land deals to allow existing portfolio projects to reach their full potential.
- Build strong relationships with landowners and tenant farmers to ensure all stakeholders have an understanding of project progress and agreement terms.
- Provide expertise on land and property law in relation to renewable projects.
- Commercially understand business needs with regards to land agreements and viability of renewable projects.
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- 4-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Detailed understanding of technical tools for wind, solar, and battery design.
- High level of commercial awareness Onshore wind / solar development.
- Teamworking and unification of ideas and strategy.
- Clear and precise communication skills.
- Critical and analytical thinking.
- Ability to persuade and build a consensus.
- Microsoft Office Suite and Smartsheets proficiency.
Expected to attend site visits across the UK as required. Occasional travel to the company's offices in London may be required.
