About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the Portsmouth Integrated Learning Disability Service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality psychological care to individuals with learning disabilities.
Main Responsibilities
- Work alongside senior management and clinical staff to develop and implement effective psychological care plans.
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy to individuals with learning disabilities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Contribute to the development of service initiatives and lead on service development projects.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members to ensure their professional development.

Person Specification
- Postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology.
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities and their families.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of supervising and mentoring junior staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
