About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide targeted support to students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them to remain engaged and motivated. You will work closely with teaching staff to help students make progress in both academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN and SEMH needs
  • Assist in planning and delivering lessons to meet individual student needs
  • Contribute to the development of individual learning plans
  • Lead sessions and activities to promote student engagement and motivation
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure student progress and well-being
