Vistry Group PLC is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely cost estimates for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide up-to-date cost information to Group Commercial through Benchmarking
  • Attend development meetings, contract pre-start, and subcontract package review meetings
  • Carry out pre-order meetings, including Health & Safety requirements, and finalizing tender sums
  • Check and arrange subcontractor payments, obtaining necessary authorizations
  • Produce BOQs for all elements of Vistry Works production
  • Place subcontractor orders, including interviews and reference checks
  • Issue variation orders and development changes, providing cost advice on major variations
  • Check and arrange subcontractor payments, agreeing final accounts with subcontractors
  • Carry out extensive costing exercises for legislation changes and business innovation
  • Promote good working relations with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure stakeholders are informed of key departmental developments
  • Maintain open lines of communication with colleagues across regions
  • Support the Group Sustainability & Social Value agenda
