Bid Management Specialist

At Tilbury Douglas, we are seeking an experienced Bid Analysis Manager to lead our bid teams in the East and West Midlands. As a key member of our regional business unit, you will be responsible for managing bids from inception to preferred contractor and/or starting on site.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with the Regional Managing Estimator to ensure timely completion of technical and commercial bid elements.
- Manage a bid team and liaise with construction delivery teams prior to commencing on site.
- Liaise with design managers or lead the preconstruction design process depending on project size and complexity.
- Develop and implement a bid winning strategy.
- Collaborate with planners to produce high-quality tender, preconstruction, and construction programmes.
- Good technical construction experience from a design management, commercial, or operational background.
- Strong commercial acumen and bid writing/submissions skills.
- Demonstrable planning skills with the ability to work alongside planners.
- Engineering/Construction Management background.
- Safety training – SMSTS (desirable).
