We are seeking an experienced ICT Network Manager to join our team at Devon & Cornwall Police. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing our ICT Network across both Devon & Cornwall and Dorset Police.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic advice on the feasibility and impact of changes to ICT Network services
- Manage and own the Voice and Data Network area, working closely with our Managed Service provider
- Develop and implement network infrastructure solutions to meet business needs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery
- Manage and monitor network services, identifying and resolving issues promptly
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, such as the Computer Misuse Act and Data Protection Act
- Degree in Computing, ICT, Technology, or similar field
- ITIL Service Management certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Project management qualification (Prince2 or Agile)
- Experience in strategic ICT supplier and service management
- Proven successful project management of complex ICT projects
- Experience in managing large budgets and negotiating with suppliers
- Significant understanding and implementation of security best practice in ICT services
- Effective communication and leadership skills
