Manufacturing Optimisation Specialist

We are looking for a Lean Manufacturing champion to be responsible for developing, leading and implementing manufacturing optimisation projects to increase process efficiency.
The role of highest-ranking manager in the organisation is undoubtedly responsible for the overall success of the business, and the key objective of your role as Managing Director will be to lead an environment that embraces lean manufacturing strategy and implement high levels of performance management to improve quality and processes.
Supporting the organisation through lean manufacturing in order to resolve problems with the current manufacturing systems (workflow, planning, process improvement, budget goals, safety, delivery etc.) will require someone with excellent analytical and conceptual skills and a performance management mind-set.
Your role will encompass analysing work force utilisation, facility layout and operational data such as production costs, process flow charts and production schedules to determine efficient utilisation of staff and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement manufacturing optimisation projects to increase process efficiency
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to achieve lean manufacturing goals
- Analyse and improve workflow, planning, and process improvement
