Job Title: Depot Plant Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Depot Plant Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our depot.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the General Manager in maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Develop and implement Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address maintenance needs, and implement cost-effective solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues, and contribute to the development of best practices and procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, and provide regular reports to management.

Requirements:

  • Qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in a related process industry, with a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and with materials handling equipment.

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience
