Clinical Performance Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Clinical Performance Assistant Manager at our GP practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring all clinical services in compliance with national and local directives to deliver high-quality, evidence-based primary care and excellent patient experience.
The Clinical Performance Assistant Manager will work closely with the Operations Assistant Manager to lead and manage a portfolio of areas at the practice, including long-term condition management, QOF, CQRS searches, and to keep accurate databases of such areas and monitor income streams. The role will also involve HR, finance, IT, health and safety, and clinical governance responsibilities.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement clinical services in compliance with national and local directives
- Lead and manage a portfolio of areas at the practice, including long-term condition management and QOF
- Monitor income streams and keep accurate databases of clinical services
- Work closely with the Operations Assistant Manager to ensure effective practice management
- Assist with HR, finance, IT, health and safety, and clinical governance responsibilities

- Computer literacy, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience of accounting procedures and cash flow forecasting
- Relevant health and safety experience
- Teaching/training staff members
- Carrying out audits
- Literacy and numeracy skills sufficient to manage a small to medium-sized business
- Educated to degree level in healthcare or business
- Qualifications in Management/Practice Management, degree level qualifications
- Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
- Knowledge of Employment law
