About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Brook View care home in Fazakerley, Liverpool. As a Registered Nurse with us, you will be empowered to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

Our care home supports 32 adults living with complex mental health needs and physical disabilities, including those who require specialist nursing care, such as tracheostomy care. We have a homely and welcoming environment, with two 9-bedded units and two 7-bedded units.

In this role, you will be accountable and responsible for supporting the holistic needs of our residents. This requires a range of clinical and nursing skills, including assessing, planning, and providing person-centred nursing care, administering medication safely, promoting health and wellbeing, and managing situations when residents display behaviours of concern.

We are looking for someone who is a great role model, able to coach, teach, and support their colleagues, and who is knowledgeable about assessment, admission, and discharge processes, as well as the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a first-level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN. You will also need to be able to demonstrate a range of clinical skills, including the ability to assess, plan, and provide person-centred nursing care, administer medication safely, and promote health and wellbeing.
