Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Services Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating pharmacy services within our medicine and integrated care specialty.

Responsibilities:

  • To support the Clinical Pharmacists and Chief Medicines Management Technician by coordinating a high-quality medicine management service.
  • To participate in the full programme of validations & training schemes.
  • To be involved in the training of new pharmacy & nursing staff.
  • To assist in the management of the day-to-day stock holding in the pharmacy satellites & dispensaries.
  • To participate in rostered 7-day working which includes weekends and bank holidays.

Requirements:

  • BTEC/NVQ Level 3 in pharmacy services or equivalent.
  • Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (accredited or proof of in-house training).
  • Medicines Management Assessment or Validations.
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of the medicines management technician role and responsibilities within hospital pharmacy.
  • Pharmacy labelling systems for labelling and stock management.
  • Stock management.

Estimated Salary: £32,000 - £43,041 per annum.
