Locum Consultant – General Gynaecologist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gynaecology Oncology Specialist to join our team at Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust. As a Locum Consultant – General Gynaecologist Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Gynaecology Oncology service.
Key Responsibilities- Work independently in outpatient clinics and theatre, providing expert care to patients with gynaecological cancers.
- Develop and implement tumour-specific pathways for endometrial, ovarian, cervical, vulval, and vaginal cancers.
- Participate in the development of the Gynaecology Oncology service, including the diagnosis and management of patients through triage, Rapid Access Clinics, diagnostics, and surgical, inpatient, and outpatient management.
- Contribute to the development of research and innovation in gynaecological oncology, including participation in NIHR studies and collaboration with the University Department of Women's and Children's Health.
- Provide educational supervision and participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training.

Requirements- Full GMC registration and license to practice.
- Entry on the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within 6 months of the appointment.
- MRCOG or equivalent CCT or equivalent.
- Relevant CCT or equivalent (equivalence must be confirmed by PMETB/GMC by date of appointment).
- Additional postgraduate qualifications, such as MD/PhD, are desirable.
