**Job Description:**

The Reception Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting students' social and emotional development, and fostering a love for learning. As part of our inclusive school community, you will collaborate with a supportive team of educators to contribute to the overall success of the school.

**Responsibilities:**

• Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons that meet the requirements of the Reception curriculum

• Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students' social and emotional development

• Provide individualized support to students based on their unique needs and abilities

• Collaborate with other educators and professionals to develop and implement effective teaching strategies

• Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' achievements and behavior

• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, ensuring a strong partnership between home and school

**Requirements:**

• QTS, EYTS, PGCE, and a strong academic record

• Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (Reception) or equivalent

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Reception curriculum and assessment frameworks

• Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for young children

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons

• A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students' learning and development

• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school and students

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
