Apprentice Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Milestone Infrastructure. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the provision of effective quantity surveying and commercial management support on the Hampshire Highways Service Contract.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide commercial and financial reporting information to the Commercial Team.
- Identify contract variations and manage changes, including submission and agreement of early warning notices, compensation events, and quotations.
- Agree final accounts and implement commercial processes to ensure contractual entitlement is realized.
- Manage direct reports, including annual performance reviews.
- Work within strict deadlines required under the contract and by the company.
- Ensure compliance with Milestone standards and procedures in respect of commercial activities.
- Preferably a degree or equivalent level qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related construction subject.
- Reasonable level of identifiable commercial experience within the construction industry.
- Good command and communication of oral and written English.
- Highway maintenance and civil engineering experience preferably with a contracting organization.
- IT proficient, particularly in MS Office.
