Academic Learning Assistant for Children with Special Needs

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Academic Learning Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education Ltd. As an Academic Learning Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties in a nurturing educational environment.
You will assist teachers in planning, implementing, and monitoring pupil progress, as well as promoting good behaviour and attendance. The successful candidate will have previous experience working with SEMH needs and be passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with special needs, including those with SEMH difficulties.
- Assist with lesson planning, delivery, and assessment.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with SEMH needs.
- Strong knowledge of child development and learning theories.
