SEN Teaching and Learning Assistant in Lewisham

We are seeking a skilled SEN Teaching and Learning Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Lewisham. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children with special educational needs.

The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working with sensory needs
- A solid understanding of early years education
- Familiarity with Attention Autism approaches (desirable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to a child in the nursery with sensory needs
- Implement techniques from Attention Autism to support engagement and learning
- Assist with personal care as part of the daily routine
- Work closely with teachers and other staff to ensure the child's needs are met
