About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rotational Physiotherapist to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. As a Rotational Physiotherapist, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of paediatric specialities, including Neurology, Haematology/Oncology, Cardiorespiratory, Neuromuscular, Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Neuro-disability.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to our patients and their families. You will be responsible for undertaking all aspects of your clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner, including accepting clinical responsibility for your own caseload and prioritising appropriately. You will also be responsible for maintaining your own competency to practice through reflective practice and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • To undertake all aspects of your clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
  • To be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of your own work.
  • To accept clinical responsibility for your own caseload and prioritise appropriately.
  • To maintain your own competency to practice through reflective practice and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.
  • To contribute to the teaching of physiotherapy assistants within core clinical areas in liaison with other members of the physiotherapy team.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in physiotherapy.
  • Health Professions Council Registration.
  • Evidence of CPD maintained in portfolio including attendance at relevant postgraduate courses.
  • Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and relevant Clinical Interest group(s).
