Job Title: Paediatric Physiotherapist - Band 6 Rotational Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team at King's College Hospital. This is a rotational position, offering the opportunity to work across various paediatric specialties, including respiratory, neurology, and cystic fibrosis.

The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality physiotherapy services to patients aged 0-19 years. This will involve assessing, treating, and managing patients with a range of paediatric conditions, as well as providing education and support to patients and their families.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in acute environments and a strong understanding of paediatric conditions and problems. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Paediatric Physiotherapist to develop their skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To assess, treat, and manage patients with a range of paediatric conditions, including respiratory, neurology, and cystic fibrosis.
  • To work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality physiotherapy services to patients aged 0-19 years.
  • To provide education and support to patients and their families, including teaching and developing junior physiotherapists, physiotherapy students, and physiotherapy assistants.
  • To participate in clinical audits and service development, and to undertake an evidence-based project throughout each rotation to further clinical practice and enhance patient care.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children in acute environments.
  • Strong understanding of paediatric conditions and problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
