Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified or existing physiotherapist to join our site-based rotation scheme at the Royal London Hospital, Barts Health NHS Trust.

About the Role

The current rotation scheme includes specialist medicine, adult intensive care, neurotrauma, and musculoskeletal outpatients. The ideal candidate will be passionate, enthusiastic, and display a willingness to learn, with a strong ethos for clinical/team development, innovative educational programmes, research, and quality improvement/audit opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • To work in a diverse multicultural environment and refine and develop experience across specialist physiotherapy areas and rotations.
  • To deliver specialized physiotherapeutic intervention to patients using highly developed skills in assessment and treatment.
  • To participate in the rotation scheme, which involves working across the Royal London Hospital and Mile End Hospital.
  • To contribute to the development of evidence-based practice and clinical effectiveness during each rotation.
  • To participate in the emergency and on-call rota across the Royal London Hospital site.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have a UK recognised qualification in physiotherapy at degree level or above, and be registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC). Desirable qualifications include membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and experience of working as a qualified therapist in a diverse multicultural environment.
