Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapist to join our rotational scheme within the Waltham Forest Rehabilitation Services. As a rotational physiotherapist, you will have the opportunity to work in both the Community Rehabilitation Team and the inpatient rehabilitation unit, gaining a broad range of clinical experience and skills.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work flexibly to assist in the effective and efficient delivery of the service.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments using clinical reasoning skills and assessment techniques to formulate a treatment plan based on clinical findings.
  • Assess the physiotherapy needs of patients presenting with a range of complex diagnoses and symptoms, recognising own limitations and seeking advice when necessary.
  • Provide patients and relatives with information and education to ensure they have meaningful choices that promote dignity, independence, and quality of life.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team, liaising with other team members and external agencies.

Requirements
  • Current HCPC registration as a physiotherapist.
  • Demonstrate a clear interest in working in the field of rehabilitation.
  • Ability to travel efficiently throughout Waltham Forest.
  • Willingness to be part of a 7-day working rota.
