About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Area Safety Manager to join our team at Rank Group. As a key member of our Health and Safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and customers across approximately 30 venues.

Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing effective health and safety management systems, conducting audits and risk assessments, and providing training and support to our venues. You will work closely with our Head of Health and Safety to ensure that all aspects of our work meet statutory and Rank Group requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement health and safety management systems across our venues
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards
  • Provide training and support to our venues on health and safety best practices
  • Work closely with our Head of Health and Safety to ensure compliance with statutory requirements
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure a culture of safety and well-being across the organization
Requirements
  • Good level of general education with specialist qualifications in health and safety (NEBOSH National Diploma or General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety)
  • Food Safety Qualification
  • Fire Safety Qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
