Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Patient Service Coordinator at Hucclecote Surgery. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide front-of-house customer service to patients, ensuring a positive and professional experience at all times.
  • Direct patients to the appropriate healthcare professional, book appointments, and answer queries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform day-to-day administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with the management of patient appointments, including scheduling and reminders.
  • Process repeat prescriptions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with practice guidelines.
  • Provide refreshments for staff and visitors, maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen area.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the front desk team.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining high-quality records and data.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, providing support and assistance as needed.
  • Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office and practice management systems.
