Homeless Support Specialist

About the Role:
You will be working within a hostel setting and in the community, providing support to those at risk of homelessness, mental health issues, substance misuse, or ex-offenders. Your main responsibilities include ensuring the safety of service users, staff, and yourself, as well as offering emotional support, help with housing benefits, and other assistance as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support vulnerable individuals in hostel settings and in the community.
- Ensure the safety of service users and staff.
- Provide emotional support, help with housing benefits, and other assistance as required.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with vulnerable people in a similar setting is essential. As this is a temporary role, you must be able to hit the ground running and adapt to different situations quickly.
