Job Title: Account Manager Asset Finance

ACT Credit Management Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Account Manager Asset Finance to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing all financial operations within the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payment of invoices and resolving queries.
  • Process supplier payments and reconcile their accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Raise invoices and credit notes, and import them into Xero.
  • Respond to internal and external financial queries, providing accurate and timely information.
  • Manage and reconcile employee expense cards and process staff expense claims.
  • Oversee payroll information shared with our external provider and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Deal with pension queries and refunds, and oversee VAT returns in line with relevant regulations.
  • Review and restructure existing accounting practices to ensure they align with best practice.
  • Oversee banking activity, reconciliations, and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in Xero.
  • Perform general accounts-related administrative duties and input data into Xero.
  • Monitor financial performance and produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the Board.
  • Generate monthly financial reports, including cashflow, P&L, forecast, team costs, and projects profitability, for presentation to the Directors.
  • Support external accountants with Year End Accounts submission.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting/bookkeeping.
  • Strong professional ethics, with the ability to manage confidential and sensitive data.
  • IT literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent understanding of VAT and Payroll taxes.
  • Knowledge of Xero is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:

A suitable accountancy qualification is required for this role.

Job Type: Part-time, Fixed-term contract

Pay: £33,500.00-£40,000.00 per year
