Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Parenting Assessor to join their Children in Need Team. The successful candidate will work full-time in Harrow, undertaking parenting assessments and viability assessments, while developing the skills and expertise of social workers completing court assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete high-quality assessments and manage social workers around specific court and PLO tasks.
  • Provide consultation, coaching, and mentoring within the service.
  • Support the service in driving improvement for vulnerable children and achieving good outcomes.
  • Contribute to the council's ambition to be an outstanding local authority.
Requirements
  • Significant experience of writing reports for court, incorporating good evidence-informed social work analysis and meeting court deadlines.
  • Ability to give oral evidence in court and have a range of knowledge spanning specialized assessment areas.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working with children in care.
Benefits

  • Retention bonus of £3,000 after 3 years of continuous service and a further £3,000 after a further 3 years.
