We are seeking an exceptional Senior Clinical Specialist Practitioner to join our Diabetes Specialist Nurse Team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Job Description:

You will work closely with the Diabetes and Endocrine Consultants and the Diabetes Nursing Team, providing expert diabetic knowledge and training to both nursing teams and medics. As a senior clinical lead, you will develop and implement best practice in the management of patients in accordance with local and national policies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing specialist diabetic knowledge and training to both nursing teams and medics
  • Developing and implementing best practice in patient management
  • Working closely with stakeholders to develop and implement local guidelines
  • Maintaining accurate and legible patient notes
  • Providing expert advice on complex cases

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
