Catering Supervisor Job Opportunity

Medirest, a leading provider of hospital catering services, is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to join their team. This role involves overseeing catering operations and service delivery in healthcare settings.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation and Service Management**: Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
  • Team Supervision and Development**: Supervise and develop culinary and service teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • KPI Monitoring and Reporting**: Regularly monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets with line managers to drive business growth.
  • Brand Representation and Image**: Represent Medirest and maintain a positive brand image by adhering to company values and standards.
  • Customer Liaison and Feedback**: Foster strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and expectations, providing feedback to improve service quality.
  • Health and Safety Compliance**: Implement and review Health and Safety protocols to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.

Requirements:

  • Passion for Food and Customer Service**: Demonstrate a genuine passion for delivering great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.
  • Catering Experience**: Possess a minimum of two years of catering experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Team Management Skills**: Show experience in managing teams and leading from the front to excel in roles.
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate**: Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Communication and Organisational Skills**: Display excellent communication and organisational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Motivation and Ambition**: Be an ambitious and motivated individual who is committed to upskilling and career development.
