Cyber Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Support Technician to join our team at Royal London. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in protecting our digital systems and networks from potential cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify potential security risks.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, implementing necessary mitigation measures to prevent data breaches.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our systems.
- Develop and implement security controls and procedures to prevent unauthorized access.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure the proper implementation of security solutions.
- Provide support to end users on security-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving problems.
- Stay up to date with the latest cyber threats and security advancements, recommending improvements to our security posture.
We are looking for a candidate with a solid understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems. You should have working knowledge of security assessment tools and techniques, as well as strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities are essential, as you will be working with various stakeholders to ensure the security of our systems.
