Operating Department Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Operating Department Supervisor to join our team at St Helens Day Case Theatre department. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the development of clinical teams, delegating work within the team, and reviewing performance.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills and take on a new challenge in a dynamic healthcare environment. You will work closely with the Theatre Operational Lead to manage key operational aspects of theatres and provide support and advice on all matters.
We offer a competitive salary range of £29,970 - £36,483 per annum and a comprehensive benefits package. If you have a strong background in theatre practice, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a multi-disciplinary team, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Registered Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner with current NMC or HCPC Registration
- Relevant diploma or degree, or working towards
- Teaching and assessing/mentoring qualification
- Related ENB/Theatre courses
You will also need to have knowledge of clinical skills required to undertake the role, knowledge of current professional & clinical issues, and substantial post-registration experience within an acute hospital setting.
