Pharmacy Technician/Assistant Opportunity

Spire Harpenden Hospital is seeking an experienced and capable Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Assistant to join our bank. As part of our close-knit department, you will provide an exemplary specialist service to support the pharmacy department and other areas of the hospital that stock medicines.

We offer a comprehensive private hospital service in a comfortable and relaxed environment to patients from London and its northern counties. Our hospital prides itself in offering excellence in clinical quality, customer service, and cleanliness. We have 5 state-of-the-art Theatres and modern Surgical and Day Care Wards covering all major surgery, orthopaedics, gynaecology, plastics, and medical patients amongst others.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the safe and effective use of medicines, ensuring cost efficiency
  • Assist in assessing people's health and well-being within the context of their medicines
  • Movement and management of medicines
  • Modify and structure data, information, computer records, and stock management documents
Requirements:
  • Be GPHC registered - your registration should not have any restrictions or conditions
  • Previous hospital experience is essential for a Pharmacy Assistant to be considered
  • Compassionate and able to showcase excellent patient care and strong communication
  • A willingness to learn and develop
