Job Overview

FA Bio is an agritech company developing microbial biofungicides and biostimulants. We are seeking a Glasshouse Technician to help us deliver our impact goals.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting up glasshouse experiments, following up on progress, and ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory and glasshouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experiment Setup: Design and implement glasshouse experiments, ensuring compliance with SOPs and Quality Control policies.
  • Lab and Glasshouse Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of our laboratory and glasshouse facilities, adhering to Health and Safety and GLP standards.
  • Sample Processing: Process plant samples, including root-washing, fresh weight and dry weight measurements, and disease assessments.
  • Support Other Projects: Assist other projects within the company as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Essential: BSc degree in agronomy, plant pathology, or related field, or 4 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Desirable: Experience with fungi cultures, molecular biology techniques, and plant-microbe interaction knowledge.
