About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Goalkeeper Coach to join our Foundation team at Liverpool Football Club. As a Foundation Phase Goalkeeper Coach, you will be responsible for developing and delivering coaching sessions for goalkeepers across various sites, with a focus on maximizing their development and progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate coaching sessions for goalkeepers in line with our Foundation's goalkeeping coaching program.
- Liaise with age group coaches and player development leads to ensure a cohesive approach to goalkeeper development.
- Develop and maintain records of player progress and produce reports for players, parents, and coaches.
- Collaborate with phase coaches to ensure a smooth transition for players as they progress through the pathway.
- Strengthen the goalkeeping pathway by providing structured opportunities for players to develop their skills.
- Attend relevant in-service training and CPD sessions to stay up-to-date with best practices.
- Participate in Multi-Disciplinary Team and staff meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and support individual player development plans to help players achieve their goals.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all participants, volunteers, and staff.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have recent and relevant experience in a sports performance environment, with a strong background in goalkeeping coaching. You will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as being reliable, conscientious, and flexible. You will also have a deep understanding of the pressures and commitments required for players and the importance of support strategies for players' emotional needs.

• FA Level 2 Goalkeeping
• FA Level 1 Outfield
• FA Safeguarding Children
• An up-to-date Emergency Aid in Football
