About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Goalkeeper Coach to join our Liverpool FC Foundation team. As a Foundation Phase Goalkeeper Coach, you will be responsible for developing and delivering coaching sessions to maximize the development of goalkeepers across our sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate coaching sessions in line with our goalkeeping coaching programme.
  • Liaise with age group coaches and player development leads to ensure a smooth transition for players.
  • Develop and maintain records of player progression and produce reports for players, parents, and coaches.
  • Work collaboratively with phase coaches to strengthen the goalkeeping pathway.
  • Attend relevant training sessions and meetings to stay up-to-date with best practices.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of participants, volunteers, and staff.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have recent experience in a sports performance environment, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a flexible approach. You will also have the ability to create a positive working relationship with stakeholders and work collaboratively in a team.

Essential Qualifications

FA Level 2 Goalkeeping, FA Level 1 Outfield, FA Safeguarding Children, and an up-to-date Emergency Aid in Football certification.
