About the Role

">

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Funding Manager (Programme Funder) to join our team. As a key member of our fundraising department, you will be responsible for securing significant and sustainable funding through matching donor purpose and values with EMBRACE's programme and partnership strategy.

">

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing new funding sources, writing applications and reporting on projects raising 5-figure sums for multi-year projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Develop and maintain relationships with donors, trusts, and foundations to secure funding for EMBRACE's programmes.">
  • Write compelling proposals and reports to secure and renew funding.">
  • Work closely with EMBRACE's Programme and Partnerships colleagues to create, develop and agree funding proposals.">
  • Ensure excellent stewardship of donations, including thank-you letters and reports.">

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.">
  • Proven track record of successful fundraising and programme development.">
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.">
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.">
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.">
