Cost Estimator/Cost Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Cost Estimator/Cost Consultant to join our team at Gregory Martin International. As a Cost Estimator/Cost Consultant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality cost estimates and supporting the growth of our dynamic consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver technical consulting projects, utilizing your expertise in cost estimation and engineering support.
  • Assist in identifying and winning new work for our rapidly growing consultancy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Apply problem structuring methods and various tools and techniques to ensure accurate project cost estimation.
  • Support project teams through review of plans and proposals for value for money.
  • Work collaboratively with customers to deliver rapid turn-around analysis.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of Investment Appraisals, Trade Studies, Business Cases, and Cost Benefit Analysis.
  • Good understanding of statistics for parametric modelling and risk assessment.
  • Experience in independent Cost Estimating using various techniques.
  • Ability to develop cost estimates considering various factors.
  • Cost Model Development and Cost/Schedule Risk Analysis.
  • Experience in Earned Value Management and logical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence decision-makers and deliver practical solutions.
  • Articulate with good communication skills and a desire for professional development.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of Visual Basic and Risk tools like @Risk.
