Tradewind Recruitment is working with a number of outstanding primary schools in Luton who require full-time SEND Teaching Assistants to start in January. This is an excellent opportunity for those who are enthusiastic about making a difference in the lives of children with SEND.

Responsibilities

">
  • Work closely with children with ASD, ADHD, and other MLD, providing individualized support and guidance to enhance their learning experiences.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote academic and social growth, in collaboration with teachers and other LSAs.
  • Foster positive relationships with parents and colleagues, ensuring open communication and a supportive learning environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

">
  • Prior experience working with children with SEND is beneficial, but not essential. What's most important is your enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment to making a positive impact.
  • Able to travel to Luton and commit to a full-time schedule, 8:30-3:30 minimum.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, parents, and colleagues.

Salary and Benefits

A competitive salary of £22,500 - £27,500 per annum, dependent on experience, plus benefits such as career development opportunities and a supportive working environment.
