C&I Systems Training Specialist

AWE Plc is seeking a highly skilled C&I Systems Training Specialist to join their team in the Reading / Basingstoke area. This role offers an attractive salary package, with an estimated annual salary of £45,250 - £46,000.
Job DescriptionThis position involves designing and delivering comprehensive training programs for control and instrumentation apprentices, ensuring they gain practical skills, knowledge, and behaviors required for success in this field. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in engineering environments, excellent presentation and communication skills, and the ability to influence learning opportunities and individual development.
Responsibilities:- Design and deliver training programs that meet company and national contracted requirements
- Assess and instruct apprentice skills, knowledge, and behaviors
- Line manage apprentices and identify development needs
- Lead a team of direct reports
- Qualified engineer with experience in control and instrumentation maintenance and installation
- BTEC / City and Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance required for the role
- Willingness to undertake off-site events and overnight stays
- Annual leave (270 hours) plus every other Friday off work
