About the Role

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Front of House team at Harrods, one of the world's leading luxury department stores. As a Waiter, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take food and beverage orders in a professional manner, maximizing sales opportunities while maintaining a discreet approach.
  • Organize and execute mise-en-place duties prior to and after service, adhering to the highest standards.
  • Ensure accurate cash handling procedures and customer billing.
  • Set up and clear tables, maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Manage your station and the restaurant, ensuring seamless operations and upholding Harrods' high standards of quality, service, and productivity.
About You

We are looking for an excellent communicator and customer service-focused individual who can greet customers warmly and provide a prompt and efficient service. You should be cool, calm, and collected in pressurized situations, able to think on your feet, and work well in a team. Additionally, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of the restaurant menu and allergens, as well as a good understanding of any specials promotions.

  • Engage with and interact comfortably with guests, building a working rapport to ensure a smooth and elegant service experience.
  • Convey the Georgian story to customers throughout the dining experience.
  • Have good attention to detail, evident through floor mis-en-place, checklists, and sufficient stock levels.
