Mental Health Care Assistant

Nottingham Community Housing Association is seeking a skilled Mental Health Care Assistant to join their team at Bridge Street, a supported accommodation service providing up to 12 months support to individuals living with mental health issues. As a Mental Health Care Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized support and guidance to residents in daily life activities
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care and support services
• Participate in resident assessments, care planning, and reviews
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident interactions and progress
Requirements:
• A Diploma or Certificate in Social Care or a related field
• Proven experience working with adults with mental health issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
• Enhanced DBS check required
