Support Worker for Adults with Mental Illness
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker for Adults with Mental Illness to join our team at Bridge Street. As a key member of our Care & Support team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health issues to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will provide person-centered support and guidance to residents, helping them to develop the skills and confidence needed to manage their mental health and achieve independence. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care and support services, including medication management, budgeting, and household responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized support and guidance to residents in daily life activities
• Assist residents with medication management and adhere to relevant policies and procedures
• Support residents with budgeting and financial management
• Encourage residents to participate in leisure activities and social events
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident interactions and progress

Requirements:
• A Diploma or Certificate in Social Care or a related field
• Proven experience working with adults with mental health issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
• Enhanced DBS check required

Benefits:
