  • Work with students on care or therapy plans created and overseen by a care specialist or therapist.
  • Encourage students to collaborate and communicate with one another and involve every student in activities.
  • Participate in creating, organizing, and carrying out students' individual development plans, including scheduling, attending, and contributing to evaluations.
  • Monitor students' behavior and conduct and take action to address complex, hard, or challenging issues.
Requirements:
  • Must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification).
  • Training in behavior management and de-escalation techniques is desirable.
  • Experience working with children who have various disabilities and/or learning difficulties, or an eagerness to undergo training.
  • Knowledge of different additional needs such as ASC, ADHD, MLD, and SEMH.
  • Confident in delivering pre-planned lessons and interventions.
  • Hold a Child-only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
