About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Claimont Health LTD. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide person-centred care to clients in the comfort of their own homes, working collaboratively with families and carers to support their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients with mental health needs, including those with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and Personality Disorder.
  • Work collaboratively with families and carers to understand mental health and develop effective coping strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client treatment and progress, adhering to management policies and protocols.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of a positive and supportive team culture.
  • Adhere to Claimont's Health and Safety Policy, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and NHS Confidentiality guidelines, maintaining confidentiality and security of patient data.
Requirements
  • Minimum 12 months experience working with people with mental health needs, including those with ABI and Personality Disorder.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Current, clean, full car driving licence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to build trust and work collaboratively with clients and families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility and adaptability in a pressurised environment.
