About the Role

This Supervisory position is crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care services. As a key member of our team, you will be working closely with our Practice Manager, deputising in their absence and contributing to the GP Surgery's performance and quality standards. Your responsibilities will also include managing data quality issues, providing advice and guidance to practice staff on clinical system use, and overseeing processes for enhanced national or local services.

You will need to possess excellent analytical skills, think critically, and work independently to address day-to-day challenges. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be interacting with various stakeholders, including patients, staff, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective management of data quality issues and contribute to the maintenance of high-quality patient records
  • Collaborate with the Practice Manager to develop and implement strategies for improved patient care and practice performance
  • Act as the Practice Administrator for the clinical system and Practice Co-ordinator for IT hardware issues, liaising closely with the CCG and Shared Services
  • Provide guidance and support to practice staff on the use of the clinical system and other related software

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in General Practice
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and work independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build effective relationships with patients, staff, and external partners
  • Able to work autonomously, with minimal supervision, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity
