Job Title: Development and Partnership Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Development and Partnership Officer. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the advancement and successful implementation of our operational plan to fundraise across corporate and community opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with funders and prospective donors to secure funding and support for our organization.
  • Plan and coordinate regular fundraising events to engage with our community and raise vital funds for our cause.
  • Attend external networking and partnership events to build relationships and identify new opportunities for fundraising and partnership development.
  • Recruit and manage community fundraisers to support our fundraising efforts and coordinate our participation in community events.
  • Manage donor records and provide analysis of fundraising activity data to inform our fundraising strategy and campaigns.
  • Assist in the preparation of trust and foundation applications and bids, working closely with colleagues across the organization.
  • Provide support to plan, coordinate, and submit tender submissions for relevant new or re-tendered services, working closely with service delivery and other colleagues.
Requirements:
  • High level of emotional intelligence and ability to work in a pressured environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to research and understand complex information.
  • Good ability to interact with technology and attention to detail.
  • Good analytical skills and willingness to get stuck in as part of a team when required.
  • Strong sense of personal integrity, honesty, and transparency.
  • Good at prioritizing and delivering against multiple deadlines in a busy work environment.
  • Open to new ways of working, learning new tasks, and skills as required.
