We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Data Specialist to join our team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. As a Patient Data Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of patient data within the Patient Administration System.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Developing and implementing process improvements to enhance patient care
  • Collaborating with clinical teams to provide high-quality patient service

We are looking for someone with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. We offer a competitive salary of £24,071 to £25,674 per annum, pro rata for part-time staff, and a range of benefits including opportunities for professional development and a commitment to work-life balance.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 GCSE or equivalent qualifications, including English Language and Mathematics
  • IT qualification, such as European Computer Driving Licence or equivalent
  • Typing qualification, OCR 2 or equivalent Word Processing
  • NVQ Level II in Business Administration, Customer Service, or IT
