About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Health Technology Assessment Analyst to join our team at Costello Medical. As a Health Technology Assessment Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of projects to demonstrate the clinical and health economic value of innovative therapies in development.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with clients to develop the HTA strategy for their product, informing the delivery of multiple project types, including medical writing of HTA submission dossiers, HTA advisory boards, and clinical and economic systematic literature reviews.
  • Collaborate with the Health Economics and Statistics team to develop health economic models, including budget impact models and cost-effectiveness analyses.
  • Participate in project teams alongside experienced colleagues, receiving one-to-one training on technical aspects, project management, and effective client communication.
  • Deliver project work, requiring close collaboration with clients, and participate in teleconferences and face-to-face meetings with external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in a scientific discipline (minimum 2.1 or equivalent). Postgraduate qualifications (minimum 2.1 or equivalent) would be an advantage.
  • Interest in working with quantitative data and ability to handle it comfortably.
  • Aptitude for planning and writing scientific documents, including lab reports, dissertations, poster or oral presentations, and articles for websites or student magazines.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic, with a genuine interest in healthcare and eagerness to learn and develop skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent organisational skills.
  • Exceptional written English and effective verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication style for various audiences.
  • Proactive mindset, collaborative approach, and self-awareness to reflect on work and performance.
